using the fed to force your beliefs down other people's throats is more of a lib thing.
If he can finance public healthcare with an economy like theirs he could certainly do it nationally. But, yeah, OK, using the feds to force my beliefs down others' throats is a lib thing, and federal exemptions from antitrust laws that allow state governments to force monopolies down peoples' throats is conservative; I'll try to remember.
