I mean, on one hand, tapping up is something that has needed to be dealt with for a while, and in a stricter way than those ridiculous fines, but at the same time...it possibly sets precedent for a whole slew of complaints, and I imagine most clubs are guilty of something or other.

Plus it sort of sucks that it's over a player I've never even heard of.

It'll be interesting to see if any other European clubs ever receive a similar punishment too *coughrealcough*.




I don't know what's wrong with me lately, I've been feeling rather gentle toward Chelsea. I need to snap out of it.



I can't really see FIFA, UEFA or any of the other governing bodies having the guts to really stand up to any of the really big clubs in the game. Which is why I don't expect to see this ban last beyond the next transfer window. I could be wrong though...
