Much like the military, the church (and other religious institutions more than ten years old) often find themselves using tactics that would have been great for the previous generation, but are less effective now. Some groups adjust better than others.

People are becoming more and more aware that their are things in the universe that cannot be quantified. The churches that welcome people asking those questions are growing. We'll see how it plays out.
