Rank amateurs or not they produced record setting results. Reagan nearly tripled the national debt, Bush 41 nearly doubled that, and after Clinton added another trillion (to an existing $4.5 trillion) Bush 43 doubled THAT. And don't give me that "all good things in split governments are Republicans work and all bad things Democrats" stuff; we both know who writes the federal budget.
