So I stumbled across this little gem of a past performance (maybe some of you have seen this before) from reigning Olympic Silver Medalist Evgeni Plushenko, and I laughed until I cried. Literal tears, running down my face.

But this is a transition period. In two olympics, if one doesn't land a quad, one will have no chance for gold. Good for Lysacek for now.
