seems pretty rational to me random thoughts Send a noteboard - 05/03/2010 01:45:28 AM
I am a firm believer in respecting others beliefs and I would find it offensive to see someone burn the Quran. Values can be challenged and questions but I think such core values as religion should be respected if if you don't agree with them. Some beliefs are so goofy that I admit I sometimes fall short of standard but we should all be offended when a world religion is disrespected even if we are also offended if that religion is used to justify violience by a small group.

I know a fair number of fairly fundamental Christians who are strongly prolife. None of the ones I know would ever condone bombing an abortion clinic but if pressed most will admit to understanding the motivation.
