When you hear or read anything about Mississippi, what do you think? What comes to mind? I am a born and raised native Mississippian and I am curious about what people on the outside think of my state.

Before the jokes roll in,
Yes, we do have running water
yes, electricity finally rolled in a few years back.


Not much beyond a state in the South on the river. I imagine a place where there are cities which are pretty standard, with country towns where there is a slower pace of life.

Honestly, that's what comes to mind.
