i have been wondering about how to call certain specific familial situations and i'm hoping that we have some genealogists here that can help me out
so, without further ado....
1) what do you call the male cousin of your spouse's uncle's wife? in other words, your spouse's mother's brother (by blood), marries a woman who has a cousin. is he just simply "cousin"? or is there some more specific name for this relationship?
2) what do you call your mother's husband's brother? your mother marries a man who is not your father, and he has a brother. brother in law? uncle in law?
3) a couple has a child. the husband has another child with a different woman. that different woman has another child with a different man. that different man has another child with yet another different woman. you are related to that last child, how are you specifically related to those other (half) siblings?

1) He seems pretty far removed. How about calling him by his name?
yeah, but it seems like there would be an actual name for this relationship. not that i care about this particular individual, because he was quite the creepy person...

2) I called my step-dad's brothers uncle at times and as I got older I called them by their names and still sometimes used uncle. Now that my mom and step-dad are divorced I call them by their names only.
same here, except again i'm wondering if there is an actual proper noun besides his name to refer to the relationship. my mom never insists on me calling him "uncle" like she does with her actual brothers so it's not that big of a deal. these questions are all of my own curiosity
3) You have no relation (by blood) to those other people. I would not call them by brother or sister, I would use their name and when asked who they are I would explain.
except that the four were quite close during their lives, and the whole family referred to them as "uncle" and "aunt" even though there wasn't much tying us together besides a string of coincidences. again, this is my own curiosity of the situation, i'm just wondering if there is a name for these relations since i already know the names of the people involved

Wouldn't 2) be a step-uncle?

I don't think it's an "official" term, but I think enough people have made it up from first...
