"any physical violence" ? are you sure you worded that right and that's what you actually thought?


To be totally honest I don't know what the actual law is but any time a kid is seen with bruises or marks on them in odd places, child selective services is likely to show up and try to find out how it happened, because it is illegal and the kids are taken away if it can be proven that it was done purposely by the parents.

As far as school goes... corporeal punishment used to be legal everywhereund 60 years ago, but it's not now. I actually just looked at a map of the states showing where it's legal. It's illegal in 30 states and "not prohibited" in 20, but I'm doubting it happens much in those 20 states. And that's just spanking we're talking about... not "any physical violence." I don't know where you got that idea.
