I'm mostly kidding, btw...but they certainly do get rid of a lot of the nonsense. Not to mention that there'd be less point to opinionated news shows. Or at least, less political and financial motivation. Less, anyways...

Maybe we should just toss Congress all together? :P Sounds like a good compromise, right? ;)


Congress is too directly elected. The house was fine, but the Senate should be elected by the state legislature. Everything is a campaign nowadays.
