You are right. Perhaps that is why they go in to very little detail about their policies, because by doing so they would reveal the marginal differences between each other.
Whoever gets in, more bureacracy beckons. It says something about our economy - that whoever has been in power over the last 20 - 25 years, the only aspect of our economy to grow substantially has been the service sector. Kafka's view of life was extremely prophetic.
