There was something about them making alternative travel arrangements for you. I'm not sure how much cover you'll have for something like this, but you should find out asap so that you know what trains/ferries you can afford to book, and also whether you can get them to do the work for you.
All travel insurance places are in a bit of a chaos, and none of them have to cover much of anything as this is a natural disaster aka act of god. But I'll have Tor look closer into this tomorrow as well. I found out that there is another Norwegian guy in our party going to London. He was thrilled when I told him you had told me the HSBC plus came with travel insurance, as he thought he was uninsured too, but he has that account. So lots of happy Norwegian people for now.
