And I'm definitely not okay with people killing a Maiar, because I am ten kinds of positive people are going to end up killing Balrogs left and friggin' right.
I will happily eat all my words if they turn the Balrog into a giant, terrifying, completely-one-hundred-percent-invincible menace that will kill you the fuck up if you come anywhere near it. That would be ten kinds of awesome.
Rational counterarguments that a group of hobbits killed a Maiar vastly more powerful than Durin's Bane will be summarily discarded. We can't all be unlikely heroes.
