I have heard people talk about how rude Horde players can be but several times now when I was about to die a horde player came in and killed whatever I was fighting so I didn't die. I couldn't talk to them but I did bow, curtsy and wave and they always did the same back. I try to follow their example and watch out for the horde players near me as well as alliance characters.

Are my experiences odd? People in my guild are suprised that has happened so often to me. I am betting that it happens more often than people realize. Maybe they are so wrapped up in what they are doing that they don't notice the reason they lived through a fight was that some Horde player kicked in and helped them? Have you seen similar behavior from the "enemy"?

I know that I am not rude. I honestly don't notice anymore though. My husband and I transferred from a PVP server after getting tired of getting ganked all the time (were only on that server b/c of friends and family, and they all quit), and once I stopped dying randomly, I stopped noticing rudeness.

I have seen the occasional cooperation between factions. It's been pretty rare in my experience.
