I dislike micromanagement in general... scalius Send a noteboard - 23/08/2010 05:56:37 PM
When it comes to leveling support characters, do you leave the setting on Auto-Assign for attribute points earned by leveling or do you ignore the pre-designed talent evolution of that character and mold them to suit your own needs and play style?

...but typically I'll involve myself to some extent, as the AI tends to take useless paths.

I say I dislike because I never find myself wanting to put much effort into a character I really don't care about, and it all becomes tedious to me. I'm happy with focusing solely on my character, from start to end. It's part of the reason why I keep hanging-up in games like DA, taking forever to finish. I have similar issues with games like the early Rainbow shooters...where you had to manage a party of agents, moving them, instructing when to shoot/hold/etc. After I while it got annoying to me, and I would simply go ahead alone, clear an area, and then call them all up after the fact.
I would slave, to pave the way, to sink your ship of fools.

Definitely set them all myself. That's half the fun of playing an RPG! *NM* - 22/08/2010 10:52:59 PM 131 Views
