2 Essence Drain
Get rid of them. Nowhere near as good as some of the other cards in this deck
Would you suggest I replace them with something, or just remove them?

Also, I'd try to get a Liliana Vess in there.
I think she wouldn't get a chance to use the -8 ability in our games. 
We all have some sort of fixation on planeswalkers and because of that they tend to get killed quite quickly.

I mainly use her tutoring ability, mixed with a Temple Bell so I can draw the card straight away. Also, making your opponent discard a card is a very nice ability, even more so when it's for +1 loyalty counters.
