I'm not sure how trustworthy the review was (it was from a big site, and influenced by ad dollars, I'm sure) but it was very positive. Said that it was much more accurate than the Wii, and that the additional axis worked well. The only major complaint they cited was that it required excessively frequent calibration. Like, between every level/minigame, you had to do a quick little exercise to be sure everything was tracking accurately.
Anyway, to me, it sounds like Wii-plus. A nice upgrade, but there still has yet to be an interesting motion tracking game.
