The game actually runs pretty smoothly. Much less glitchy than, say, Modern Warefare 2.
I've played Modern Warfare 2 extensively since it was released, and I have never EVER experienced as many issues trying to complete a simple single player campaign as I have playing Reach. The multiplayer runs fine.
