That's actually a really legitimate question.

I always go good for my first play through. Then bad. Then I try neutral but that never really works out. I always tend to lean on the good side and then say screw it. I just always feel so bad being an ass to people. "Help help help!!!" "Get outta my way" *shotgun to the face*
Haha I know what you mean. That's why I always play good at first too. I always wonder: how do people who really stick to playing an asshole and treat everyone badly ever get quests?
I mean when you play Mass Effect 2 as renegade on your second playthrough, like I did, you're still saving the Universe and stuff, just in a really bad ass way. But in Fallout, you can actually be a criminal 24-7 and I don't know how people get any interesting quests from any characters then.
Like, seriously? Who would go running up to a jerk and ask for help expecting we'd say yes. Unless we get a reputation for helping no matter what...just in a really douchey way.
And in ME2, I think I remember a renegade option to just kill someone. Because they were being obnoxious. Yeah, you're badass but you're also pretty evil.
Go Hokies!

I might buy it on Steam. Realistically, with my schedule lately, I'll wait for reviews and opinions.

The impression I get is that it's a hardcore new-gen Fallout for hardcore Fallout fans.
