Also, are you familiar with/have you considered downloading Nethack? *NM* Ghavrel Send a noteboard - 25/12/2010 08:34:37 AM
First, let me state that I never visit the board--until now.

I'm looking for suggestions for a free online fantasy (or SF, but fantasy preferred) adventure-style game. It can be an RPG, but doesn't have to be. Text-based is also fine, but not preferable. I also prefer that it not be too simple, i.e., something that a young child could easily play. I also prefer not to have to download anything and connect to a client server to play, but that's not a dealbreaker. A dealbreaker would be one where I have to actively fight battles. I'd rather click a button that says "Attack." Another would be one where after a certain level, to continue advancing I have to purchase special items or "credits."

I've done a little searching of my own, but I haven't found anything yet that I want to stick with and/or satisfies my requirements.

I know I ask a lot, but if I don't ask, I might not find what I'm looking for. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks. Most I've run across seem to do the same. *NM* - 22/12/2010 05:16:10 AM 380 Views
Kingdom of Loathing? It's... parodic. To say the least. - 25/12/2010 08:33:30 AM 599 Views
