I'll answer as best as I can, but I may be off on the year that it came out in. I have a very skewed vision of time due to my work....

StarCraft 2 - I'm having a blast still playing this game. Playing multipass...err...multiplayer or in 1 player mode. Getting the achievements or whatever...much fun.

Uncharted 2 - Definately a favorite. It really blurred the lines between video game and movie.

Then I have a few honorable mentions...

Final Fantasy XIII - Gets up here for name alone, and the fact that at least one of the characters was very well done (Sahz or whatever his name was). Could have been so much better...

Assassin's Creed 2 - Better then the first...and I liked the first. I wanna get Brotherhood.

There may be more, but these come to mind.
