If you've read Yahtzee's review over at Zero Punctuation, he sums it up pretty well. It's FUN, but it feels... unfocused.

Like, there's a cool criminal/lawbreaking system, very similar to GTA4's. But you can teleport in your horse anywhere, and money stops being an issue about 45 minutes into the game, so what reason would you have to break the law?


The same applies to the other things. Poker, treasure hunts, horseshoes... it's all fun (well, maybe not horseshoes), but there isn't really any incentive to wander around looking for buried bars of gold.


I still had fun playing it, though.


...was the ability to open just about anything and collect anything I want. Picking flowers and ammo boxes didn't really make up for that :P
I think a mix of Fallout and Red Dead in Mass Effect's world would be my favorite game ever.
