The Nintendo sequel game console to the wii is rumored to have a hd4770 which is about the same performance as the hd6670. You will be getting similar gaming performance out of a $1000 laptop as what you will get out of a $300 to $400 console.
Now a $600 dollar desktop will easily have better performance than the $300 to $400 dollar console (though it may not have funny remotes
