I mean, nowadays the only way most people find old games are in the bargain bin at Gamestop or Best Buy. The old games that are available are typically not the best ones.
That is slowly starting to change. After years of trying to get my hands on Castlevania SOTN it was finally available on XBox Live and I grabbed it. I'm still waiting for GOG.com to get the rights to Sierra's old Quest for Glory series. Buying them in their original format would be like trying to find a first edition copy of Fellowship of the Ring; you can do it, but it takes patience and a fair chunk of change.
I'm not into this for the fetish property... I just want the good old game, more like buying the fellowship of the Ring in paperback.
