It's a bit on the short side and that the ending is a very big 'meh' sort of cliff-hanger. Everyone is raving on the look and mechanics of the game, the AI enemy actions are varied and challenging. The weapons are fun and have a good feel. Everyone is pleasantly surprised by how fun the driving sequences seem to be.
The game is somewhat shortish, so they haven't really built a lot into the locations and the characters... basically the RPG elements are really under-developed. The shooter aspects and the look of the world they live up to expectation from the company that made Doom and Quake.
