Vice City was very Miami. San Andreas had three very different cities beetnemesis Send a noteboard - 03/11/2011 07:44:38 PM
GTA: San Andreas had three cities: Los Santos (Los Angeles, which was sprawling and urban and probably the most "generic," San Fierro (San Francisco, which was incredibly hilly and had lots of parks and narrow streets) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas, where you're basically driving through the desert and BAM, you're suddenly in a city with giant casinos, neon everywhere, etc.

Plus, tons of countryside, mountains, suburbs, forests, rivers, a desert...

GTA 4 felt really bland to me, though, I agree. The different sections of the city were nearly differentiated enough.
I amuse myself.
