An Ode to Skyrim - Edit 1

Before modification by Nate at 10/11/2011 08:07:03 PM

In anticipation of getting to open up and play my pre-loaded game when it goes live tonight. Based on the poem "Do not stand at my grave and weep" by Mary Elizabeth Frye (the actual poem is linked at the bottom). New Skyrim version written by me. When I've spent some time with the game I'll return here to add my voice to others that will surely be giving their opinions as well.

Do not stand at my door and knock,
I have no time; I broke my clock.
I creep among the fallen snow,
I hunt for food and hunt my foe,
I scan the sky for dragons dark,
I hold in hand my ready spark.
When you ponder where it is I've gone,
Fear not for I'll return anon
When every stone's been overturned
And flame has every dungeon burned.
Do not stand at my door so grim,
I am not there; I'm in Skyrim.
The original poem.
