I don't really believe that a game that finishes in a reasonable amount of time, rather than dragging on forever, is a waste of money, so I can't comment on this. Generally, I can finish games in the Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty and Medal of Honor franchises in relatively decent times. But I don't consider those campaigns a waste of my time. Force Unleashed didn't take long to complete, but I still loved it.

Still, I am glad when I pick up such games a couple of months or years for half price or less instead of getting them release day and being done after 4 days.
