Really? I loved GW and found WoW to be like an unwanted second job. - Edit 2

But then again, I played my days of GW, had a really good time, and can be done with it. If I'd played WoW, I'd practically be working a second job's worth of time to keep up with everyone while also paying $15/mo. The cumulative cost of WoW far surpasses the two GW expansions. Also, GW's PvP was pretty amazing, albeit smaller scale than WoW's Battlegrounds. I prefer that, too.

So, different strokes and all that. I'll never understand why WoWers are so critical of GW. WoW has its good aspects, but it all comes with the major downside of full-on MMO time and money commitment. I'll gladly pass on that.

Please take all of this with a grain of salt, however, because I was burned out on "real" MMOs around the turn of the millenium. One stroke of the /age command and many people will feel the same way. Life's too short, and nobody on their deathbed will be be bragging about their epic mounts.
