...very much views games as a budding artform. His games are not meant to be fun, but rather to be an artistic experience.
This was my problem with Braid. It was beautiful, original, and unique, but --at least in my estimation-- pretty boring. I probably found it so because I approached it as a platformer, however, which it's really not.
