Obviously, I can't say much about the story or even characters at this point, or the battle system - though the latter looks good, and is definitely an improvement over 12's - the rest of the game is fantastic.

The graphics are great, the voices and soundtrack are too - though unfortunately the voices aren't gonna be kept for the english release, so that doesn't really matter. But most importantly, it looks like it keps the good aspects of FF12. Like at 2:17 where it's showing the field view and you can see gigantic creatures of some kind moving in the distant, and it actually looks like you're wandering through a world that is alive. FF12 had some of the same thing going on, just that there wandering was all you had to do since fights were won automatically. Remove the latter, and you have a game that's a winner.
