Don't overthink the spell. You are always right, remember? Make something up if you need to. Artistic freedom and all that. You might want to think about reasonable saves though. It could be extra special monsters, too. Some sort of tag team which you enter into your campaigns whenever you want to have fun. Just make sure you have a way for them to escape if things become brutal.

Really. Being bound by a rulebook is among the most boring things there is for a DM.
The power to change and create things is certainly important for DMing, but I think it can be a lot of fun to play by the rules too. Especially since, with a little creativity, the rules can be made to do things that were definitely never intended.

I might be able to offer some specific ideas, but I would need more details on your game. Like, what edition are you playing and what books are you using?

See, this is one occasion when you can make good use of DM privileges. - 23/10/2009 04:40:32 PM 237 Views
Exactly. When I DM, if I want there to be some sort of effect, I make it so. - 23/10/2009 04:55:57 PM 222 Views
