I liked the first one, but it was very similar to KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC, with a similar plot and even some similar graphical styles (even the CGI in the final battle was extremely similar to KotOR, both ending with a massive alien artefact needing to be blown up by tons of ships whilst you're fighting inside it). The random missions were awful and controlling that jeep was ridiculously lame. Once you got past all of that, it got pretty decent, but then ended way too soon. BioWare's shortest game apart from JADE EMPIRE. All in all, well below BioWare's usual standards for me (having play every BioWare game right back to BG1).

That said, it sounds like ME2 will be a stronger game with a better storyline and a somewhat grittier atmosphere.

I'm also looking forward to ALPHA PROTOCOL, DRAGON AGE and FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS. Also HALF-LIFE 2 EPISODE 3 if Valve actually ever release the damned thing.
