I wouldn't play with a real Black Lotus either Colonel Logain Send a noteboard - 30/10/2009 11:52:56 PM
My Lotus is in Near Mint condition and I have it in a special extra-hard sleeve. I use a proxy card when playing because I'm not stupid enough to shuffle it into a deck. I had a chance to get the white mox (Pearl, I think?) a while back and passed. I sort of wish I hadn't.

I wouldn't mind a couple of Mox either (I think the plural of Mox is Mox, but I don't know for sure).

The two most valuable cards I own are both in a deck I frequently use. I managed to pick up 2 3rd Edition Plateaus for $10 when my local Magic Card dealer closed down. As they're worth about $45 each, I didn't think it was too bad.

Of course, if they were from Alpha, where Plateaus are worth about $150 each, I'd use proxies as well.

I have nothing to add. I just wanted to be included in this thread.
