KotOR Replay and Question grogg0316 Send a noteboard - 06/11/2009 05:53:43 PM
So for fun I started playing through KotOR again. And this has been bugging me for a while. Did Revan intend for the Exile to die at Malachor V?

Case for:
*The fleet Revan sent to Malachor V was composed mostly of the forces he felt were not totally loyal to him. By using the Mass Shadow Generator (MSG) he would be able to wipe out the Mandalorians and the Republic forces that would oppose him.

*If Revan knew about the Exile's ability to form force bonds, then it is safe to assume that the backlash through the force after using the MSG would kill her. Even if he assumed she would cut herself off from the Force, a jedi without the force is hardly a threat.

Case against:
*Malak wanted to have HK47 kill the Exile after Malachor V but Revan didn't. Revan referred to her as a Jedi "who was already dead," and wanted her to face the Council and show them the hypocrisy of their teachings, and so let her live.

*It is usually stated that the Exile was loyal to Revan.
Forum posts should be like a skirt. Long enough to cover the topic but short enough to keep your attention.
