I stopped playing, sadly. Nate Send a noteboard - 28/12/2009 02:54:17 AM
I thought it was a fantastic game, and the only MMO I've tried that comes close to WoW, though in a different way. The focus on story and the fantastically imagined Middle Earth is excellent. The combat system was slower than I was used to (though I hear they changed that somewhat with the latest mini-expansion), but I adapted and came to enjoy the more tactical nature, where you had to think about what you were going to do before you started your attacks when faced with more than one enemy at a time.

But sadly, on my server (Gladdon Fields, I think it was called), I had a really hard time finding other people at my lowbie levels to run the instanced epic quest content with. The epic quest chains were my favorite thing about the whole game, so the difficulty in running some of the key parts of it, because of how hard it was to find groups, turned me off the game eventually.

Other than that, the game gets my recommendation. It's good stuff.

I am morally and ethicallly opposed to playing a game in which you spend 50 bucks for the game... - 26/12/2009 10:08:28 PM 474 Views
