In general, out in the field, they don't apply.

However, if the game has spawn points, waiting in front of them is in poor taste.

If the levels glitch a bit, allowing you to shoot everyone without anyone being able to shoot at you, that's lame.


Not saying that's what you're doing, but I've definitely seen some people do what I've just listed, and it's extremely frustrating, especially the glitching one.


I don't have the dedication to learn spawn points that I would sit near one and watch it (though I did have that happen to me in a TDM of the first Modern Warfare, CoD4). Besides, Modern Warfare 2 does a pretty good job of safe spawning. And I'm unfamiliar with the type of glitch you're describing.
