I mean, it used to be you could kill your opponent on turn three with the right cards (i.e., you start with Juzam Djinn, Black Lotus, Dark Ritual, a Swamp and an Unholy Strength). Is the game just that slow these days? The new "dual" lands make multicolor decks a bit more viable, but three colours seems like an invitation to get mana-screwed.
