I realize Dragon Age: Origins is the spiritual successor to the series. But if there's any game I would love to see get remade, it would have be the Baldur's Gate series. Updated with a new graphics engine and with the latest 3rd edition D&D rules.
If you could have any classic game remade for modern systems what would it be?

I used to think new games were incapable of recapturing the feeling of classic games.

Except the two played differently, had different stories, and are published by different companies.

Anachronox. It came out in 2001, but was based on 1997 Quake 2 tech, so... quasi-classic. Ish.
