It was just... odd - Edit 1

Now, I only played the demo, but I don't think there'd necessarily be anything you would consider OFFENSIVE. I just remember it feeling a bit surreal.

Like, the main character has his dead wife's crucifix. He can shoot out cross-shaped blasts with it. If he upgrades it (with "souls," which he gets from fighting enemies...), it can shoot out multiple blasts of light.

At various points you meet people (historical figures, and others) whom you can "Save" or "condemn," and then get the relevant upgrade points (there are two tech trees, one for light and one for dark)

One of the collectibles are "Judas Coins"

So yeah, it's not like it has Judas in a giant mecha, and you defeat him by tossing Communion wafers at his neck, only to find out that he's really Lucifer in human/mecha form in conspiracy with the Metatron to rule the galaxy.

It's more just that it's surreal to see elements of a religion I grew up with in video game form.

(Oh, there is a bunch of nudity in the game. Not sure if that matters to you, but figured I'd mention it)
