Initial pricing for the service has been set at 14.95, which does NOT include game rental/purchase prices, which haven't been announced yet. I think it sounds a little pricey, but not astronomically so. IF the tech really works, it would definitely offer significant value to a lot of people. Depending on the rental price, you might even be able to make the argument that it'll save people money, depending on how many games they play, how often they upgrade their computer hardware, etc.
I'm pretty skeptical for now, but very interested. Everything is moving to the cloud, and, like it or not, this is the future of gaming. June 17th should tell us how close that future is.
