have the two people sharing rank one split the points of first and second place equally? so if the first rank gets 20 and second 12, let them have 16 each? thus you don't get any problems with that third place finisher who still only gets whatever third place gets :D

But what about the other question, is 1 divided by 2 and rounded down still 1 or is it 0? :P
