Unless it was specifically designed to have some strange controller-centric function (like, say, motion control) It will very likely be better on PC.

For stuff like Baldur's Gate or Dragon Age, you can control your characters easier, and control the viewpoint much easier.

For games like Civilization, the sheer amount of menus and different things to click makes using an analog stick a chore.

Then there's stuff like Deus Ex- an FPS, yes, but its all the different abilities you had that really made a keyboard needed.


Plus, while TVs may have bigger screens, PCs tend to have MUCH better graphics. It depends on the PC of course, but I have Dragon Age on the PS3, and when I play it on my friend's high-end PC I want to weep at the difference.
