Make sure you tell us about how they explain the absence of most of the characters from the main game except for Oghren. I want my Shale and Leiliana!
Most are explained by the characters' (various, depending on your standing) endings at the end of Origins... either they have other responsibilities now, or they've left for other countries not featured in Ferelden/Awakenings. Shale in particular, I would not expect to see ever again.
