I feel that drawing conclusions from that sample is likely to be representative for the whole world of gamers.
I do disagree with you on physical activities for 6-9 year olds, though. If they do that in their free time rather than schoolwork, it is not a certainty that they will do worse later on. It never seemed to affect results much in school around here, anyway.
