I would just concentrate on building up Lightning's "Lionheart" with the right components because it has the "Quick Stagger" ability.
You'll probably notice that on YouTube many of the hardest hunts are run by this team because of their various ultimate weapons and setups. Gamefaqs forums have more detailed explanations, though.
