This is pretty much spot on - I tend to like being a valuable member of a team or partnership, and fulfill roles such as Healers, Buffers and Heavy Damage Dealers, so that I can save people near me.

I also want to be as powerful as possible, but generally in ways that undermine other peoples' skills. So when there are a bunch of Fire channelers running around in MUDs, I specialized in Water channeling, which neutralized most of their weaves as well as Healing.
