That's what I had to say to a woman on the phone the other day.
Many folks are just down on their luck and need some help to make it through a tough time. I love being able to help this population. But other people...such as the one mentioned above...not a clue.
The woman's food stamps were dropping because her daughter, son and daughter's boyfriend are all working. The woman was not happy to hear the food stamps were dropping. She asked what might be the most stupid question I've ever heard..."What are we supposed to do? *disgusted tone* You mean my kids are basically going to be working to eat and pay bills?"
WTF??? What the hell does she think the rest of us do?!?!
