What a difference 30 years makes...

Thirty years ago, I looked forward every year to New Years Eve because it seemed to be the most romantic night of the year to me. It always seemed that I met someone special and exciting at the dances I went to every year.
This year I have been looking forward to what I anticipate will be my favorite New Years Eve ever. I have my grandson all night!! Squeee!! And my husband and I are going to watch a Doobie Brother's concert he bought the DVD of for me for Christmas and introduce little Johnny to some of the best rock ever.
Mmmm. New Years Eve cuddling with two exciting and wonderful guys and watching a spectacular concert.
I don't think there is anything more intoxicating than a baby falling asleep on your chest and feeling the soft breath and rise and fall of his breathing.
Life can be good.
