I come home this evening after dealing with the shits at work to find a folder with my name and music books in it.
It was from one of my cello students. Who's last line was "I feel that you're focused on other things right now."
Well DUH! I have a full time job that I don't know my schedule from week to week. I'm sorry that you do lessons every other week and that the last lesson was a week early and you wanted to wait an extra week to get back on track. Sorry that I don't feed your ego and pander to every little thing. You're 60 years old for Christ's sakes. At this time of life, I understand you don't have great expectations for playing; but really, if you would actually do exactly as you're askedg and not your interpretation things might be slightly better.
It's okay. I've had a feeling this might be in the works for the last month or so. He was just waiting for a 'good' reason.
Oh well. . . .
These things don't usually affect me at all, but today it's the topping of the cake.
Earlier at work today a good friend of both the S.O and I was in. The S.O had called at 5:30am my time and of course I missed the call. The one morning this last week I actually sleep in and I slept on the porch, he calls. Then at work later she tells me she received an email from him. wtf. . . .
Plus the PMS thing is just beginning. . . .
I need to get over the irritability thing when the S.O isn't in contact.
Oh well. Hope y'all have had a better Tuesday.
